I‘m listening
Coming to therapy is a sign of what is right with you not what is “wrong” with you, the seeds of change are already within you. I am here to help you grow from your struggles, heal from your pain, and move forward to where you want to be in your life. My 15+ years of experience enables me to offer effective individualized counseling for adults, adolescents, couples and families. I treat a number of mental health disorders, and provide a safe, non judgmental space for healing and growth. My additional specialities include adult children of emotionally unsafe/unavailable parents, depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, adoption, sexual health, spirituality, adjustment disorders, bipolar disorder, ADHD, attachment disorders, self harm, and suicidal ideation.
In my practice I focus on evidence-based approaches and am committed to implementing the highest level of care based on continued education in best practices. The core of healing comes from our relationships with not only others, but more importantly with ourselves. Throughout our lives we develop subconscious patterns of interacting with ourselves and the world around us. Often these learned behaviors are no longer helpful and have shattered our ability to trust and heal. The world will ask you who you are and if you do not know the world will tell you. Until you make the unconscious conscious it will direct your life. Therapy cultivates self awareness and recovers your internal compass that leads you to where you want to be. As we work together, you will begin to see past the filter of your wounds. You will find that you can engage with yourself and the world in a new, more peaceful and meaningful way.
I promise to be there for you every step of your journey. Just be you, that’s enough.
Group therapy is an effective and affordable alternative or addition to individual therapy. Groups can act as a support network and provide a safe, non judgmental, confidential space to heal and grow. Contact Counseling Treasure Valley for more info on upcoming groups
