I‘m listening

Welcome to My Counseling Practice
I am so glad you are here! Coming to therapy doesn’t mean there’s something wrong with you — it’s a sign of your courage, resilience and strength. You’re listening to the part of you that knows life can feel lighter, more connected, and more peaceful.
I’m here to walk beside you on that journey. My heart and my work are focused on helping people heal from deep emotional wounds and find more confidence, clarity, compassion, and authenticity in their lives.
With over 20 years of experience, I work with individuals who have experienced complex trauma, attachment trauma, relationship challenges, anxiety, depression, OCD, PTSD, ADHD, grief, or bipolar disorder — and those who carry the impact of difficult childhood experiences.
Together, we’ll make sense of what’s been hard, untangle old patterns, and create space for more joy and ease. Your healing path is your own, and I’m honored to support you every step of the way.
In my practice, I draw from evidence-based approaches and, more importantly, from the heart of what truly heals — connection, curiosity, and compassion. I’m a Level 1–trained Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapist through the IFS Institute, and this modality has transformed the way I understand people and healing — because it works!
IFS sees each of us as made up of many “parts” — protective parts that work hard to keep us safe, and wounded parts that carry pain from the past — all connected by a deeper core self that is wise, calm, and capable of healing.
You might notice this in yourself when you say things like, “Part of me wants to try this, but another part feels scared.” Or maybe there’s a part of you that tries to stay in control and restrict, and another that eventually says, “Forget it,” and ends up binging or rebelling. Every part of you has a good reason for being there — even the ones that feel confusing or frustrating.
Through gentle curiosity and compassion, we’ll explore these inner parts together so you can begin to have relief, heal, and reconnect with your true self.

I promise to be there for you every step of your journey. Just be you, that’s enough.
Group therapy is an effective and affordable alternative or addition to individual therapy. Groups can act as a support network and provide a safe, non judgmental, confidential space to heal and grow. Contact Counseling Treasure Valley for more info on upcoming groups
